Multiple Path-itis

Version: 0.0.2b

Down and Out with Paris and Marion
by sesquip

Desperate for a game with clichéd writing, wooden characters with a ton of dead ends?

No? Well what if I told you there's a good chance it'll never be finished and it's a first ever game attempt! Aha I knew it.

You are a guy who has decided to skip town to reboot his life and make some changes, hopefully those changes are your choice, some might not be. I plan mental and physical changes, mainly of the MtF variety, but I may try other things too.

This is my first attempt at a game. First time using Twine etc. I am mainly using this as a bit of fun to learn some basic game design. I have just about learned how to do some basic formatting, add an image and add a sound. My next steps are to try to add some stats, make it all much prettier and continue one path without much branching - introducing the title characters. We will see how that goes.

~24k words now, some formatting changes, a couple new scenese. A bit more formatting, a bit more setting up of actual tf content, for now I think there's one minor thing that can be changed that is visible to the user under the player description page. There are other things under there but I don't think they can be activated yet.

It's still mainly linear, but certain choices have to be made to get certain bits of dialogue so it's not such a straightforward cyoa. e.g. you might have to be wearing a certain item to get a choice or piece of dialogue.

Removed some tf themes as they're not in it yet. Mental changes are definitely planned (and sort of there, but won't be noticed if you play it atm), and probably planning bimbo and corruption.

Have hopefully made the multipath-itis a bit more mangaeable, signposting where content is.

Now with a forum topic.

You - You are everyman, whatever you want to be when reading it. As long as it's a slightly effeminate 20 something male.

Cheryl - Hot and friendly waitress that gives you a place to stay for your first night. Dubious motives.

Brad - Cheryl's ex. Pretty much the opposite to you.

Planned characters - Paris, Marion, Mike. Hopefully more babes.

So far there are a lot of branches in the opening café scene. The one branch that goes beyond that is the lipstick path.

Clue: the coffee was not and if you must.

There is already enough content to see where this game is headed, and to be honest I can't wait to see more.

Hopefully this game won't end up dead like you mentioned, but rather be finished to a complete game.

Nice work and keep it up!

Definitely got me interestred with the current content. Writing is not bad at all, game's author is too hard on himself.

I agree that the many branching paths are worrisome, I hope that the author won't lose his passion. We've all seen that happen too many times in the past, often saddening many players.

I like the strong aggressive woman part of this. I'm not so crazy about how she's trying to get me to cross dress or have gay sex though. A women in control vs a women controlling you is a fine line, and I feel like this is going to turn out to be the latter.

The many branching paths in the beginning is a little worrisome, but it's clear that the game creator is a good writer from all the flirtatious fluff. The one longer branch that came with the latest update proves that this game has somewhere to go. I have enjoyed every moment of this and can't wait to see where it will go!

The transformations in this seem to be focused on feminization, so to those of you who don't enjoy that, this might not be your cup of tea. Those who do enjoy that, NEED to check this game out.
