You find yourself in your regular bar with your friends judging women and bragging about your sexual conquests. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, the wrong person overhears this.
You wake up in a town full of magic and are given the chance at a new life and an opportunity to regain your old body.
Currently the game is about 60% finished, The majority of the main progression is in but there are no real endings so far. There are hidden interactions that require you to look for them and random events that only happen when certain creteria is met. You will need a couple of playthroughs picking different options if you wish to see all the scenes which will also effect your stats differently.
I want to add more people to the town, more interactions with the townsfolk, more transformations and customisation options, more random events and more hidden actions. Right now the progression of the game ends when Lisa appears in the town but you can still go and interacts with other characters if you wish. If you find any bugs, want to suggest anything to add (such as clothing or transformations) please let me know in the discussion thread!
Requires RAG 2.4.16 to play!
Bug fixes, no new content except Julias house and some temporary TF's related to that.
Right off the mark I thought I was playing a copy of Cursed; the introduction, villain and game narrative are all strikingly similar. Could instantly tell the author was from the UK from the descriptions used... unless the setting is intentionally meant to be of that origin?
I saw some spelling mistakes as I was playing, but nothing too serious that could not be fixed with a re-read and one run of the spell check. Found a code bug with the library research when you reach the current last normal book page and third entry of the dark research, but it didn't affect the game stability. I found that I could take showers (while wearing clothes), cook meals, watch TV, etc endlessly with no penalty to get my avatar more comfortable with their new form and gain mana without even continuing the story at the beginning after the text wall introduction was over. I could also endlessly show Taro the corrupted keystone and get as many as I like (thus skipping part of the story), then go crazy with my mana restoring (I got bored at 1,300+).
Transformation methods in the game at this stage are limited. You can have your avatar make one change themselves and there are two random encounters that can alter your body (one temporarily, one permanently). There is also one bonus major alteration that can happen but once it does you're locked in and it would be a spoiler to reveal it.
The writing of the game is quite good, with descriptions provided setting the scene enough so you know where you are and what is going on without there being a wall of text to cut through. The introduction is the only part that is text heavy with only the standard "continue" interaction, but this is understandable to get the player into the scene of the game. I took a look at the game code and it checks out well, despite the three bugs noticed (which as said weren't game breaking) and mana regeneration method that is likely a result of the early stage of game development; items link up, NPCs give you what you need to continue without it being a click/timer hunt, backtracking is minimal and the locations aren't linked by convoluted mazes.
I did enjoy this game and what I played to date with the current release. No doubt as further development goes on, it will lose its similarity to Cursed and become something entirely of its own.
(Using RAGS 2.4.16 installed over the top of 2.4 without uninstalling the old version first)
Game will not open it keeps saying rags file could not be opened. I am useing 2.4.whatever you said i needed. Is this just me or is anyone else running into this issue
Well, this looks like it's going to turn into an iteresting game. i spent a couple hours playing, making sure i've covered every option. On the surface it seems over pretty quick... until you start finding little hidden things that open the game up more and more. I'm fairly confident i've done everything now, and after reaching the end of the content... well, im hungry for more. So i guess that means Good Job to the creator.
