It does what few other games on here can do, in allowing a path of both resistance and reluctance. The writing is definitely of high enough quality for it to be a bonus, and the ability to turn images off is something I hope to see in other games too.
The only flaw would be the fighting, in that (As far as I've gotten) nothing is explained and every success and failure in the ring feels accidental and happenstantial as apposed to rewarding. Sometimes making smart decisions seems to pay off, and sometimes it continues to pay off throughout the fight, but sometimes I find myself asking what I'm doing that's so drastically different than any other fight I've won. I like the idea of keeping things hazy and unclear, but this is a little extreme. The fights seem a lot like RPG boss fights that you save before fighting, and after any mistake you just reload the save.
I will say, however, that even if you just had a coinflip in place of each fight, the story, writing and themes are strong enough that it would still be worth the play. It's sort of hard to explain exactly why this is, but suffice it to just say that it just is. Worth playing, and even supporting!
This is a good one! Despite a few typos and minor bugs here and there, this game succeeds in the 2 most important categories: it's fun, and it's hot. Nice work!
I decided to become Magma's supporter after playing the latest version.
This game features really good writing with a complex story and several paths that require some time to explore.
The fact that some paths block other is both interesting since it makes you replay the game and a pain in the ass since it makes you replay the game to see all the content.
The newly added art adds quite a lot of flavour to the game and Magma's overall approach shows that the game is under active development and will not likely die off, a well known problem with many games on this site.
I do like the fact that the main character can be badass and not a whimpy victim, although there are some paths that cater for the victim more subby content.
I hope the dev keeps expanding the game.
Definitely worth playing.
you should write after the changelog you can only play if you pay
A CYOA with gaming element. It is the type of game which I like most.
The last time I played it, it was version 0.076 and it was a good game, for the exception that it branched off in too many directions later in the game.
This time when I played the Reborn it was a mixed feeling. Putting pictures in the bag... na, not that I do not like pictures, it was that it wasn't the jewel that brought it to where it was. It was the good control of vibe and details and the theme: you were a big tough girl who got your ass handed to you on a plate putting you into scenes that were humiliating, and you fought back while investigating the mysterical shadow figures.
Now, I tough it through the first run until the very end of the current development. A few bugs like missing a closing tag of IF here and there. It was okay until the Clubs events took over and it was totally a different game.
It is still an interesting game, but I think it wandered away from its successful element a little bit.
