Escape: Swapped, or Dasshutsu Irekawari is a puzzle game by Yonyon and a kind of sequel to the original Dasshutsu. The game features excellent character art from Kimagure After and a few custom character graphics.
You play as Ash, a highschool girl who wakes up trapped inside of a mysterious building with some of her classmates. After you power on a strange-looking machine, your situation becomes... just a little bit more interesting.
This games clues are way too vague. I'm sure they made more sense in the original translation but as is, it's very frustrating to play since it the clues do very little to help. The mirror for example was comeplete bullshit. I had to look in the readme files to figure out I'm supposed to count the words but only the words of a certain line. And the first red chests clue is if you go "straight" out somehow you get the clue but I've done everything. i've counted the steps and I've counted the dead ends in the room and i've looked at the floor to see if there was a number there.
Listen, I'm all for puzzle games but if the clues the game gives you don't give you what's needed to figure out the solution, then it's a shit puzzle. It's like I give it 3/10, the clues that are given don't help and it would probably be easier to just brute force the codes
This was an amazing puzzle game, as always from Yonyon. and the translation is really good as I didn't see any cases of such classic Engrish as This guys are sick, the legendary duwang scans, or anything like that. 10/10 would body swap with my best friend and grope my own boobs again.
Really nice game ! The swaps are interesting, but this is a puzzle game first, and a nice one ! I recommend it, and try to avoid using hints ;)
